Cost Cutters - Dissatisfied customer

I went in to Lake Geneva Cost Cutters with a picture of how I wanted my hair cut and came out with a very unattractive hair cut, that didn't look anything like the cut I requested. The stylist cut it way to short, only curled the left side of the back of my head.

The stylist said she could cut it shorter to look like the picture, you couldn't cut it any shorter. I gave her a tip and I regret it. A good hair dresser listens to what a customer asks for. I don't even want to leave my house.

I have to go to work looking like a poster child from a third world country. I went there because of my work hours I couldn't make an appointment with my normal hair dresser. I regret going to Cost Cutters in Lake Geneva Walmart. I haven't talked to them yet because I was to mad at the time.

I will be getting in contact with them when my hours of work allow. Sincerely Dissapointed Cathy

I went to Walmart at Elmore to have a haircut the hair stylist is rude and don't do a job .disappointed customer.

Didn't do what I asked

I asked for an A-frame cut (longer in front and shorter in back) with minimal layering. I asked for the front to be chin-length and the back to be at hair line. Instead, the length in front is about 1.5" too short and she did all this texturing in the back that I didn't ask for. When she measured where to cut, she pulled the hair completely in front of my face instead of measuring it to the side like she should have. I now have to wait 4 months to get it to grow back out. I'll never go to another Cost Cutters ever again. I'm so pissed! This is not the first time that the stylist has just done whatever the heck they want to without asking me what I want.

I went to costcutters on cave creek abd union hills on Friday sept 1st to get my hair colored and highlighted..dark brown with blonde highlights..or at the very least light brown highlights..only to sit in there and process my color for TWO HOURS and end up walking out of there paying 75.00 with the EXACT same hair color! I have not had my hair professionally done in at least 2 years..i was using a box color called Splatt..in a crimson red. My stylist..who is also manager of that location..promised me a decent change. People i see everyday noticed absolutely nothing. My only income is Disability so i can't afford to just eat this and forget about it. Please help ASAP..Thank u in advance for your time

I came into the store in Post Falls Idaho (Wal-Mart on Mullan) one gal there & no customers. I asked if she could do a short hair cut and she informed me " I'm not comfortable with that" wow! I asked if there was someone there that IS comfortable with that and she told me " yeah in about 4 hours!!" Seriously!!! Are there employees hired that don't cut hair??? I'll never go there again.

They discriminate my race

I made an a[appointment with Cost cutter at E Washington in Madison WI today 9/23/2017 at 12:30 pm for my three year old boy. when I get there by the same time the women name sheena told me that I have to wait 15 mint I did when I went back again she told me to wait 10 more mint which is not right I was very up set I will never go to cost cutter never and I want other not to go because they are very mean and horrible people they have no respect they make me wait with three year old while taking other I will never go there I will not let all my friend go there either

Old customer,not treated right at cost cutters

I have been taken my 5 grandchilren to cost cutters on staples since they opened. Before school started i took 3 of the boys. I noticed people ahead of me were getting coupons for 2 dollars off.I asked about that and was told that was for new customers. Saw a commercial when i got home that there was a happy hour haircut for 11 dollars. No one said anything about that either. The beautican that cut 2 of the boys hair recommended a product for thier hair. I asked how much? She said 7.99 and it rang up for 9.99. I asked her about the price and she acted as she didnt care. Good bye cost cutters hello supercuts.

Waiting when have apt

Happens all the time. Last two times were ridiculous. I was told it would be a bit, by the manager; Ashley in Racine Wi. Walmart location. but after waiting a bit, I looked at my stylist and her client and she was doing colors, plural, on her long hair. Since I have long hair, I know how long that takes. Inexcusable, if you don't have the staff, don't take apts, and get their clients pissed offffffff!!!!! It's all about numbers at Cost Cutters and new manager sucks and does what she wAnts. Plan on disclosing this to all!!!!

Cost Cutters - Hair Perm Review

My new perm went flat as it dried. I called the just over 2 hours after i left the salon and spoke with store mgr, Courtney, who did my perm.

She said she could re-do with smaller rods at 9am and recommended washing it if that is what i wished to do. I told her i did want it re-done because it can't stay like this and questioned to make sure she was saying she felt i should wash it. She replied "yes." i told her i would wash it right then. I called first thing this morning and was told that she spoke to her District Supervisor, Tabitha and she said the best they could do is offer me 20% off my next service!

Then, I called Dukes and Lords and spoke with Anna C. She thought her perm appt was a no-show and would have time but her appt showed up late. She stated my hair was in good enough health that she felt that it should have been fine to perm and offered to call her friend Kristy who is mgr at another local Cost Cutters. She explained to her what i told her and Kristy said she would call District Supervisor to see if there was anything they could do.

She(Kristy)then called me and said she(Tabitha) told her no because Courtney, who did the perm told her i went home and washed my hair and then called to tell her what happened and demanding it to be fixed. I was given Supervisors contact info and called when i left the Dukes and Lords store. She(Tabitha) then told me they weren't going to re-do anything because i washed it and that's my fault, not theirs....and besides, she felt i was grossly undercharged(again...I believe if this were true, that would be Courtney's fault, not mine.) She also said that since i have long hair, it wouldn't work anyway....without ever even seeing my hair. I have had long hair perms before , no issues so i know this is not true whatsoever.

I then said they could even cut my hair if needed, i just need it fixed, she then refused again. I will admit that by then i was heated by being called a liar and told her to f off. Then i get home and call Dukes and Lords to set up an appointment with Anna C., who then told me nobody there would touch my hair either now because i cant be trusted....they cant trust that i wont go right home and wash it out and then complain like i just did. Yes, that really happened.

So thank you Courtney at the Winnebago, IL Cost Cutters; Kristy from the E. State St(@ Walmart) Rockford, IL(who obviously returned call to Anna after speaking with supervisor; and District Supervisor, Tabitha for all slandering my name so badly and lets not forget Anna C. From Dukes and Lords for believing the lies and then joining in the horrible service party. I have photos of my hair as it progressively went flat while drying naturally, screenshot of my phone calls to verify timeline, and my receipt also with time i left store and charges.

I cant seem to add them here though due to being more than 5mb. The one thing(other than going elsewhere to begin with) i wish I had but do not is a recording of the LIAR COURTNEY, telling me to wash the hair. Hind site is 20/20!!!! I understand she was likely trying to cover her own tail with her District, but to do it at my expense and the expense of my reputation is truly pathetic.

Have some integrity. Grow up. You hold a license, you should have more respect for your title and license.

I will also be contacting the the IDFPF to report the slander and the rest of it! Its the least that i can do, really.

Costcutters is opened by the Regis co. If you really want to go over the incorrectly trained district manager, call the company and demand they pay you back or redo the service.

Or the thing that use to really get a quick response was posting to their Facebook page. Raise *** and good luck

Thank you but I tried calling Regis...they wouldn't do anything because it was a "franchise" Cost Cutters. Posted on the FB page for that cost cutters also.

One of the employees commented that I ruined my own perm by washing it making it seem as I didn't know what I was doing and I still have not been refunded, never will be.

F all of them... Regis, Cost Cutters corporation, the franchise owner, district supervisor, and most certainly that liar, Courtney!

The stylist at Walmart Cost Cutters in Monroe, WI name Morgan bleached my hair twice in one night. Took the top and right side of my hair out. She never did get the color I asked for. I called the parent company Regis because the manager in Madison, WI did nothing. They are going to reimburse me and send conditioning treatment. I sent pictures for proof.

I scheduled an appointment with the manager of the new cost cutters I started going to because the stylist I had at this new location last did a fantastic job but, I couldn't get our schedules to meet when I needed to have the roots touched up. She was happy to see me short notice and couldn't find the color that the last stylist used in my profile on the computer so brought out the swatches and we figured out a color although, I was very clear about how I wanted my hair to turn out and how I didn't want it to turn out.

I just wanted the roots done to match the rest of my hair on the ends. I didn't want it to look like my roots were one color and my ends another. Well, my roots are orange and my ends are black. my hair is shoulder length and my roots were showing maybe 3 inches so no, it does not look like a cool ombre.

I'm on disability and I go to cost cutters because I don't like to spend a lot for my hair and I maybe go every quarter and not every month. So I realize that no one ever reads these things and franchise salons will continue to do this maliciously and using these "Mean Girl" uneducated decisions to humiliate people who are helpless and pay for a service like everyone else that they deserve to enjoy too. If you mess up, at least you can offer to fix it. I went in for a refund.

She didn't even give me a full refund. This B*** messed up on purpose. She wouldn't fix it and she didn't give me a refund. I never seen her before in my life so how can someone take their bad day out on a customer?!

A disabled customer?! And how do you not have protection for your customers? There's absolutely nothing I can do. The "promo" cardboard guy in the corner with the real phone number asking you to call if there's any complaints is a lie.

Dude doesn't pick up and the mailbox is full. She was the manager! She ruined my hair, humiliated me, and now I walk around with degradation and burnt ego. I'm sorely disappointed.

Especially now with the way society is changing. I've lost faith in humanity.

I had a bad hair color after spending almost 100$ on it. I’m going in to get a refund today because I could have easily done what she did in half the time for 7$.

I feel for you. I had a horrible experience also. I would never recommend cost cutters to anyone, they are a chain filled with the stylist that can't find a job anywhere else

Worst hair cut in my life

Asked for a pixie got a boy cut. Normally just shrug it off but I have a HUGE magazine article picture for work tomorrow. Never again.
