Staff Review
If the hairstylist is with a client and answers the phone, the caller shouldn't be told the hairstylist can't help now because she's with a client! Don't answer the phone then or get a receptionist!

Cost Cutters Haircut Review
I took my son and they can't even get the side burns right i could of done a better job. They need more training. Not the first time.

My daughter received services at Cost Cutters in the Walmart on Nicholasville RD in Lexington, KY. Latasha one of the stylist bullied my daughter and then placed a fraudulent charge on her credit card. She refused to give me the number to corporate or call the owner, she then called the police on us when we questioned her about the charge. Latasha stated " I charged your card because I could". No one wants to patronize a salon who employes a thief. Latasha was rude, arrogant and yelled at us several times to get out of the salon. She also made racist comments.

I literally got the worsr haircut in my entire life at cost cutters the other day. Its not even close to what i asked of the lady. Not to mention, she just told me how horrible my hair was when i first went it. Telling me stuff like "Oh my god. Your hair is so dry. Im not even sure what to do with this." I felt so embarrassed that she just said that in the middle of the busy salon. I wanted to walk out right then and there. But after my haircut, i requested an eyebrow wax. Which was great until i noticed she took a CHUNK OUT OF MY EYEBROW. So now i have a baldspot in the middle of my eyebrow.

Horrible!!! My daughter and I went there to get hair cuts yesterday and were treated as if we were a burden to take care of. The woman that did our hair was more worried about her hollenbecks apple pie out back than my daughter and I. I went in with long hair asking for a long inverted bob and came walking out with a choppy horrible very short inverted bob. I asked the girl that did it if i actually had to pay for it, it is that bad! Then she was rude as *** to my 5 year old daughter and it was her first time ever of havimg her hair cut at a salon so I wanted a great expierence for her but it was nothing of that at all!!! They are all super young and inexpierenced. Would NEVER EVER go back here!!!!!

Cost Cutters, Nitro, WV Your employee, Amber Mason, (McClanahan) and my son just divorced. She sent word for my family to stay out of Cost Cutters. We have had no cross words with her or caused her any problems. I find this very unprofessional and bad for your business. She says she's a manager. My 10 year old granddaughter was in there last week for a cut by another stylist with no problems. Then we get the msg to stay out of there. If she's a manager, she's a childish one.

Cost Cutters Manager Review
The Manager (Rachel Nelson) at Cost Cutters in Verona Ave. Is the worst! She always has a bad attitude and a rude look in her face. Seems like she hates every one that walks into the salon. She needs to change her customer service otherwise my family and i will have to stop coming to cost cutters. Gina, jeniffer and Olivia are great girls.

Extremely Disappointed with Styling Appointment
I booked an appointment for my daughter two days prior to the service and in detailed listed what was to be done! I requested a wash, blow dry and flat iron/ press. When I arrive to pick up my daughter I notice hair wasn't flat pressed. I spoke with the stylist expressing my concern and explained the former Cost Cutter stylist was able to press her hair and it looked as if it were permed. She remarked I'm not the former stylist - WRONG ANSWER!! Is there anything else I can do to remedy the situation is what I was hoping to hear from a new stylist who should be interested in building up her clientele. Did I mention stylist jelled my daughter's hairline in her attempt to have her hair look like it was pressed. So I'm disgusted and decide to check out which took an exceptionally long because as she explained she was new and not accustom to cashiering! I questioned the bill and was told due to my daughter's hair texture the stylist decided to try a technique that was listed on the bill and not requested by me when I booked the appointment! Did I mention I had to return to get a copy of my receipt and she stopped talking upon my return entry into the salon, I'm not paranoid but it's safe to assume I was being discussed, with customers in the salon. I had to hot curled my daughter's hair when i returned home. Needless to say I will not return to Cost Cotter on University, next to Atlanta Bread in Huntsville, AL where I've been a customer for last three years. I guess when stylist are paid hourly and not commission they are not required to please their customers!

Horrible service!!! Went to the one in Atascocita I have had a bad experience about three years ago but I gave them another try. When I walk in there to you ladies who work there one is giving the other one a dye job. They were so rude I just walked out. Ladies There are more interested in doing their own hair.

Went to take my grandson 18 months for his first haircut in Bedford Va for one the young girl act like she didn't know what she was doing and 2 the older lady she ask was rude did it try to comfort grandson who was scared and told me she doesn't do haircuts w him on my lap smh she was a total *** I did not get his haircut nor will I ever go their again

Came to get my hair colored and cut at the fond du lac location ... My stylist was running late (we are all human and things come up)... I came in and sat down and was willing to wait because my schedule is flexible. The ONE and ONLY other stylist that is here was super rude to me and was talking badly about my stylist. I understand she is stressed out but being rude to me (who is not mad at all about having to wait) is poor customer service. Apparently they had a few walk ins but they couldn't accommodate them because they were short handed... It happens in every salon if they are booked or short handed. No reason to be rude to the customers that are pre-booked and are willing to wait and come back in the future. They have 5 stations and only 2 are filled the week before most schools start?!

Cost Cutters Haircut Review
My hair was cut by Fairyn at Delavan,WI. I told her the same thing i tell all stylists. She made sure that she blow dried and styled my hair even after I told her i air dry my hair. After i was home i couldnt do anything with my hair. My hair does not frame my face and I have a destinct line from the back of my head to the front.

I won't go back! They don't listen to what you want or need.
First time I had my haircut there was last March. Told them that my hands did not work well & I wanted a cut I could blow dry & let go. She proceeded to layer it (I have very fine hair) & it looked like ***. I was unable to manage it without using a curling iron, which is very hard for me to do. I went back in May & just had the ends trimmed so I could get away from the layers. Went back today & told the gal no layers, shorter in the back than in the front & that I did not want to have to mess with it. She started to layer it & I had to stop her. Then she cut it shorter in the front & proceeded to style it. I am very unhappy. I have always had long hair because of so called stylists not listening to what I want. Guess what? I'm going back to long hair so I do not have to put up with these gals that do not know how to listen to the customer and just do what they want to do.

Just went in toa cost cutters in Lakewood (Belmar). There was one cutter and one person waiting. I was told that I was at least 90 minutes out due to appointments and no help. What should I come back with that kind of customer service?

i have been to both grand island nebraska locations and STRONGLY ADVISE NOBODY TO GO TO EITHER ONE
THOSE BEAUTICIANS WERE MORE LAZY AND NEGATIVE THAN I CARE TO EVER SIT THROUGH A HAIRCUT AGAIN AND THE BUTCHERED ME she could not stop talking about herself and south walmart exact opposite they thought they were way to good for anyone and the bleach blonde short hair sweetie you are terrible
